Subscription terms
Last updated 24.10.2026
This page is a draft and has not been reviewed yet. If anything here is unclear, write to hey@volt.cards before you subscribe.
These terms cover paid VoltCards plans: Premium for one person and Business for a company. Your card itself is free and stays free; these terms apply only once you choose a paid plan. They sit alongside the general Terms and conditions and the Privacy policy.
Who you are buying from
VoltCards and its paid plans are run and sold by VORTEK INOVATIONS D.O.O., Njudelhiska 6/1-13, Karposh, Skopje, North Macedonia, VAT number MK4057024570335. You can reach us at hey@volt.cards.
What a plan includes
What each plan includes, and its limits, are on the pricing page. Some features have a monthly allowance, such as the number of business cards you can scan, and the allowance starts again each month. An allowance you do not use does not carry over.
Prices and VAT
Prices are in Macedonian denars and include VAT at 18%. The price shown is the amount charged. Every payment comes with an invoice you can download from Billing.
Your subscription keeps the price it started at. If we change the price of a plan, it applies to new subscriptions and not to yours.
Free trial
Some plans start with a free trial. Starting one costs nothing and does not need a card. We send you a reminder three days before the trial ends.
When the trial ends, we charge the card saved on your account for the first period. If there is no card, you get the grace period described below to add one, and then the plan ends and your card goes back to Free.
Each person gets one trial per plan. Monthly and yearly billing of the same plan count as one plan.
Automatic renewal
A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, on the same date, until you cancel it. We charge your default card. If that card is refused, we may try one other card saved on your account.
To save a card, your bank authorises 1 MKD to prove the card is yours, and you will see it on your statement.
Changing plan
You can switch between monthly and yearly billing in the app. During a trial the switch happens at once. On a paid plan it happens at your next renewal: you keep what you paid for until then, and the renewal charges the new price.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing is charged after that. You can undo a cancellation until that date.
We do not refund the unused part of a period you cancel, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to hey@volt.cards.
If a payment fails
If a renewal cannot be charged, everything keeps working for a grace period, usually 7 days. We try again once a day and email you so you can update your card. If the grace period ends without a payment, the plan ends.
When a plan ends
Your card goes back to Free and nothing you made is deleted. Anything above the free limits, like links past the first five, is hidden from your public card and comes back if you subscribe again.
Company plans
A company plan is bought by a company administrator in the VoltCards company portal, for a number of seats, and is charged to that administrator's default saved card. Each charge is the price per card multiplied by the seats, and the invoice is made out to the company. Company plans have no free trial.
While the plan is active it covers the company's cards in place of their holders' own plans. Each card that is not paused uses a seat, so a paused card does not.
To change the number of seats or to end a company plan, write to hey@volt.cards.
The plan is held by the administrator who bought it, and renews on their card. That administrator cannot delete their account while the plan is running; write to us to move it to another administrator or end it first.
If you delete your account
Deleting your account ends any paid plan on it straight away, and nothing is charged after that. The rest of the period you paid for is not refunded. We keep your invoices and payment records for as long as accounting and tax law requires, but you can no longer download them from the app, so download the ones you need from Billing first.
